Based in the countryside of Lancashire I have had the great opportunity to experience some great days training dogs in the company of some great people and in some amazing places.
My name is Damian and all my life I have been involved in training dogs in various areas. I decided that running my own sales company for the last 6 years, working in the rat race, is not where I want to be. |

Zack's Story
In 2007 I decided that I would start training gundogs and acquired my first working Labrador (Megan). In 2008 I was asked to train a working Springer Spaniel called Zack. Zack had several behaviour and psychological problems and it was clear that problems not only lied with Zack but with the owner too. After many training session she decided that he wasn’t the dog for her and asked if I would kennel and re-home him. I decided to keep Zack and try to rehabilitate him. Zack’s main problems were nervousness around people, attention issues with 2-3 hour periods where if he could he would just run and run; but more importantly he would chase any animal that crossed his path. 12 months later he is now steady on game, hunting/stopping to the whistle and coming back when recalled. He is now ready for some rough shooting in 2009.
By using consistency, positive reinforcements in my training I have been able to achieve a well balanced relationship.
In March 2010 Zack was re-homed with a shooting man who was looking for a rough shooting dog. Zack had reached his full potential but was only happy working on his own and not in a commercial shoot, so whilst I was attached to him, it was in Zack's best interests to offer him the best quality of working life!!! |
